Two sisters, one goal: helping your child love learning.
We're Gianelle and Ilianna — sisters who both grew up loving school, and now want to help preschool through high school students feel that same confidence. Every session is built around your child, not a set curriculum.
How it WorksA simple process, built around your family
Step 1 Free Consultation
We start by getting to know your child — their strengths, what they're struggling with, and what you're hoping to see improve.
Step 2Matched With the Right Tutor
Based on your child's age, they'll work with either Gianelle (elementary - high school) or Ilianna (preschool - elementary).
Step 3Ongoing, Personalized Sessions
Regular sessions built around your child's actual needs, with updates along the way so you always know how things are going.
About Gianelle
Hi, I'm Gianelle! I'm a junior at Desert Oasis High School, where I take honors and AP-level coursework in math and English — including scoring a 4 on the AP Precalculus exam and a 3 on the AP Seminar exam — and I'm currently taking college-level courses through University of Las Vegas, NV, including an introductory statistics course and psychology classes focused on how the brain actually learns. Studying how learning works has shaped the way I approach tutoring: I try to understand not just what a student is struggling with, but why, and build my sessions around that.
Before high school, I was educated in private school from preschool through 8th grade, where I built a strong foundation in math, reading, and writing. I've always loved literature — everything from Edgar Allan Poe to Shakespeare — and that love of language shows up in how I teach reading and writing today, whether it's building comprehension, growing vocabulary, or helping a student find their voice as a writer.
Teaching has been part of my life for years, not just something I'm starting now. As Vice President of my school's marching band, I regularly teach other students new skills and help them improve. I've also served as a Lead Teacher Assistant for dance classes, and I've taught children ages 3 to 10 in a classroom setting through my church. Through a class called Applied Christianity, I regularly prepared and delivered presentations to the entire middle school, which has made me confident and proactive in how I teach — I don't wait for a student to get stuck before stepping in; I look for it, and I'm not afraid to speak up and guide a session with confidence. Alongside all of that, I've been babysitting kids ages 1 to 14 since 2020, so I'm genuinely comfortable and patient with a wide range of ages — not just in theory, but from real, ongoing experience.
What I love most is watching a student go from confused to confident — seeing them fully understand a topic and then work through it quickly and correctly, completely on their own. That moment, when something finally clicks for a kid, is why I tutor, and it's what I aim for in every single session with your child.
About Ilianna
Hi, I'm Ilianna! I'm going into 9th grade at Desert Oasis High School, and I'm also taking dual-enrollment courses through UNLV. Before high school, I was educated in private school from preschool through 6th grade, which gave me a strong foundation in early learning myself — and I still remember what it felt like to be a little one building those first skills, which is part of why I love working with kids this age.
I'm CPR certified, trained to perform CPR, use an AED, and perform the Heimlich maneuver for people ages 0 to 30. Keeping little ones safe and comfortable is something I take seriously in every session.
I've been babysitting kids ages 1 to 13 since 2023, and I've spent a lot of time getting to know how young kids learn best — through play, encouragement, and lots of patience. Guiding younger kids in tennis technique and mentoring through my dance team taught me how to break things down in a way that feels fun instead of overwhelming. I've also volunteered to clean and organize books for Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that gets books into the hands of kids who need them, because early reading is something I truly love sharing. With preschool and kindergarten-age kids, I focus on being patient and warm, and on building early reading skills in a way that feels exciting, not stressful.
What I love most is watching a child grow and advance their skills using the little foundation I helped give them — cheering them on every step of the way is my favorite part of tutoring, and it's what I bring to every session.
